The Arthur Schoffstall Lecture Series
in Computer Science and Computer Engineering
brings to Rensselaer the most distinguished and topical speakers
in the areas of computer science and computer engineering.
These seminars are jointly presented by the Departments of
Electrical, Computer, and Systems Engineering (ECSE)
and
Computer Science (CS).

More on Prof. Foster and his lectures.
Schedule
The Schoffstall Lectures are held approximately once per year.
Each speaker presents a series of two lectures.
The first is expository and introduces the subject matter to a
general audience, including undergraduates, graduate students, and faculty.
The second develops the material more deeply, but
is still accessible to non-specialists.
Support
The ECSE/CS Arthur Schoffstall Lecture Series in Computer Science and
Engineering is made possible by the generous support of
Martin L. Schoffstall (`82) and is named for his grandfather,
Arthur Schoffstall.
